In this workshop we will explore group dynamics, both between members in one group (intragroup dynamics) as well as between groups (intergroup dynamics).
Through activities and debriefs we will learn how team members behave as contributing individuals or as a collective team when faced with a task. Participants will form small teams, each team assigned a project to deliver. Each team will need to self-organize to produce. Some participants will have the role of independent observers, not participating in the team, but instead recording communications, decision making, leaders, engagement, changes etc.
During the debriefs, we will hear from members and observers about what happened for each person, so that we can extract learnings on group dynamics, and how a group can better position itself to obtain something greater from the whole than the sum of its parts.
